Zendesk Messaging Android SDK 5.3.0 camera permission request issue

I used default RequestActivity and then selected the camera as a Messaging attachment, it returns to the previous page due to the lack of camera permissions. 

This issue did not exist in the previous version 5.2.0, where a request permission AlertDialog would appear.
This occurs on both Android 12 and Android 14.
