Messaging iOS language change at runtime

I can't see any method to change the language of the chat in runtime. It looks like that messaging SDK uses only the phone language setting. 

What I need is to change the language to anything that I want regardless of what phone locale is set. Is this possible?

      The SDK's UI does in fact use the device language.  So changes made at runtime won't get applied to the UI.

      This feature is indeed important for our app, as it is also a case in our business scenario. We would like to request that the method for changing the language be exposed.

      I'm upvoting this request. As many other teams our app allows user to change app's language/theme during runtime overwriting OS setting. We have issues passing internal QA to publish the app with Zendesk messaging SDK without this feature, able the one the user selects.  we want the theme and language updatable in the runtime the same way we can do in web SDK. 

      BTW I can no longer find SDK feedback thread after HC redesign?
