We are integrating iOS messaging sdk and would like to avoid asking user for details like name and email. Is there a way to prefill those details using some api exposed in the messaging sdk?

Have you looked into Enabling Authenticated Visitors? Not only does it provide higher security but once the user is verified they won't receive the prompt asking for their name or email.
