We need to fill out Google's new "Data Safety" form for our Android app.

The app integrates the Zendesk Mobile SDK, for Guide and Support.

What kind of data is collected by/shared with Zendesk - what do we need to disclose?

There were similar questions back when Apple started displaying data privacy info on the AppStore. The community topic from back then is not available, anymore:

    We reached out to the Zendesk support team several times. 

    We did not receive any response to emails.

    Via chat, the agents were friendly but could not provide any information. 

    We were promised several times that an agent would take care of our concern.

    We have yet to hear anything further from the Zendesk team.

    Google has pushed back the deadline to respond to the Data Safety Form to summer 2022.

    We continue to hope that Zendesk will still provide binding information.

    Hi Audials,

    Thanks for reaching out. We have an article here detailing the Zendesk SDK and App Privacy Details, incl. what data is used in these product, and why. I think this is what you need for Google's form, but please let us know if you think anything is still missing.
