We are working on a new zendesk marketplace app. As part of this, we are looking for a feature where zendesk users(admins/agents) will be able to view some analytics within zendesk explore.
Does zendesk explore and the app framework provides a way to auto-setup a zendesk explore dashboard within the account where the admin user installs our app?

Did you get any traction? This is a wonderful idea. I love the app framework. But the placement locations are not so good (Zendesk Sell). Our goal is to integration more data from our ERP data and would love to be able to place app widgets right onto the Zendesk Sell dashboard. It would be the dream scenario.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to do this at this time. Though I think it's a neat idea, and am going to log it as a feature request. I'll reach back out if it gets any traction.
