Hello!
Is it possible to use the API to search for tickets containing one term or another? For instance, I would like to retrieve tickets with “Camping Trip” or “Lunch Break”. I am being able to find by one of the terms, but failing to use OR operator to retrieve issues containing either one of them.
Any idea if this is possible?

I checked the API documentation and I didn't see any options to add an OR search operator. At the moment, think you'd need to do multiple searches and then combine the results. You could also submit a product feedback request for this. You can see how to do that with this article.
