'On Chat' API endpoints for Messenger

I'm currently using the 'On Chat' APIs available for the Web Widget (Classic) to send analytics data to our platform and to trigger other events to occur.

I'm looking at potentially moving over to ZD Messenger, but it doesn't look like the API endpoints that are available for it have the same functionality. Is there an equivalent Messenger API endpoint to the Web Widget's 'On Chat' endpoints? If not, is there a way to continue using the Web Widget endpoints with Messenger's user & agent experiences?

      Hi Joe! There is no equivalent method in the Web Widget API, because the backbone of messaging moves away from the async concept of chat. I would recommend going through this article to help determine whether switching to messaging is right for you and your team!
