Hello, I'm a first hire engineer at a new startup in the WFM space. We'll be integrating pretty heavily with ZD and I created a sponsored account to develop against. However, getting realistic data into our instance is a bit of a chore. Does anyone have advice on seeding data into a development ZD instance to give realistic CS team data to develop again? Looking into voice/ chat/ email channels specifically, but also metrics on agents and such. I think this would be helpful to a lot of people.
Is it possible to get seed data for developers?
Hi Justin! We don't have anything like that at this time and it would be fairly difficult to do with useful data at any scale. The reason for that is that a lot of your data will end up in ticket fields or tags based on specific business rules at specific timings for a particular instance. So at a surface level, creating some tickets with users and content would be essentially trivial, but the actual useful information would just be way too specific at any significant level.
That said, if anyone wants to take a stab at this, I say go for it and see what comes from it!
