Integrate IOS & Android app chat with Zendesk

Hi, I just found this article https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408845951002-Embedding-customer-service-in-mobile-apps-with-the-Support-SDK and we want to integrate our own chat that we have in our app (IOS & Android) with Zendesk, is that possible?

Hey Javier, 

You wouldn't be able to integrate it via our SDK. Though would you be able to tell me more about what you're hoping to do? I can then propose some other options for you.

Hi Eric, thanks for your help...
So our development department have been deploying and app with Xamaring of Microsoft, Xamaring creates the app for IOS and Android by itself.
This app haves an internal chat that we want to integrate with Zendesk (they don’t want to embed the Zendesk chat, they want to use their own chat in the app) and we need to know what kind of configuration we must use to make this.

Hey Javier,

So you'd like your agents to be able to work via this chat platform from within the Zendesk interface? If so, is this chat platform something your team built or is it a chat product from another company? 

If it's another chat product, we have a lot of pre-existing integrations available through our marketplace.

Hey Javier,

In that case, once your chat platform is live. You can integrate it into Zendesk by building a server side application to the chat platform. This will allow your agents to be able to answer chats from within the Zendesk interface.
