Hi,

I was wondering if there is a hard upper limit (number of characters or bytes) listed somewhere for a single string within a custom object?

    Hi Cheryl,

    As per our documentation the limits are 32KB and the hard enforced limit is 64KB. While going above the soft limit is not the usual one and depending on your use case, it is best and advised to be within the soft limit.
