Setting up drop down list dependency

I have a "Reason" field with 5 choices.
I have a "Sub-Reason details" field with 15 choices.
When I select the "Reason" field choices #1, I want a subset of the "Sub-Reason details" to be available for choosing.
If I select "Reason" choice #2, a different subset of "Sub-Reason details" would show

Hey Mahe,

You should be able to organize your fields into nested drop-down fields as mentioned in this article: Organizing drop-down list options

This would be the easiest way to set up your drop-down fields to also include subset field options.

Hi @Brett Bowser, I have done this but when we looking the report, the hierarchy drop-down showing full name like "SPAM::EMAIL", "SPAM:TICKET"...Is there a way we can make it display in reporting like "EMAIL", "TICKET" without hierarchy

Hi Mahe – yes! You can use Renamed Set to rename those attributes. There's an example here that renames date values, but you can use the same method to rename the displayed values from a dropdown field: How to use a renamed set to change the time format
