Route content from external email address into Zendesk and create tickets for the 'Reply-to' fields

Hi,

We have emails for external system that we want to create tickets off the back off.

Can anyone help with a workaround?

I need emails sent to ADDRESS A to re-direct to Zendesk, autocreate a ticket, and then send ticket confirmation email out to the 'Reply-email' (the person sending the email, not ADDRESS A), letting them know this is now a support ticket.

Many thanks

Hey Grace, thanks for engaging in our community! I moved this over to Q&A for better visibility for your questions with our Community members. We will move it back to our feedback forum if needed. Thanks again!

Hi Grace, I think you could do this with automations (either on ZD or Zapier).

You would have to create an automatic forwarded for ADDRESS A to redirect to Zendesk. You should also be able to automate (probably through your email provider or Zapier) saying "this is now a support ticket" to the original email address.

I can go into more detail if that would help. I can't say I set this up myself but I think this would achieve what you are looking for
