Is there a way to set an alert when there more than X amount of tickets on one board?

We are looking into a way to get an alert when we have more than 6 tickets currently sitting as new, I saw a time based report which we have currently as well, but it would be nice to be able to set up an alert that let's us know when a board is getting backed up.

Hey @jared18...  There isn't a way to do this out-of-the-box in Zendesk.

That said, if you happen to use Zapier, I wrote a post on how to trigger an alert based on Zendesk's Get View Count API which has been working well for us. We trigger the alert to our private Support Slack channel, but you could adjust the zap to trigger to a different software if you aren't using Slack.

You can see the solution I implemented here:

Hi,

Is this still not possible?

Hello Riah,

Unfortunately not, but maybe SLAs could also help in that case.

Here you can find more in About SLA policies and how they work.

The Qvasa zendesk app does this. I’d check it out
