Copy Content of public note to Subject of Ticket

Hi Team,

New to Zendesk . Hence would require some assistance on how to copy public note content to subject of ticket once a ticket is created.

For eg the public note only has the content HRC0010678 .

The zendesk ticket should have subject HRC0010678 ----existing subject---------.

Can this be achieved by trigger rules or Macros .

Thanks

Manasa

@ahmed11 : Thank you for your response.

I am trying to integrate servicenow and zendesk via emails ..Servicenow is able to send response to zendesk to update existing tickets but zendesk is unable to send response to servicenow to update existing tickets in servicenow .

Only way Zendesk can update servicenow is by adding servicenow ticket number (in this case HRC00XXXX) in Subject of Zendesk Ticket .

The servicenow ticket number the very first time is sent as public reply to existing zendesk ticket.Hence updating in the subject of zendesk ticket will help further communication.

@ahmed11 :

I am able to add a public reply from servicenow to zendesk . after adding of public reply which consist of HRC000XX ticket number i was thinking of creating a macro or have a trigger rule whenever ticket is updated or whenever public reply comes into zendesk ticket then change subject of zendesk by adding a prefix of the Public reply i.e. HRC000XX ticket number. Once this is done from zendesk end any further updates on zendesk ticket will update corresponding ticket in servicenow

Hi @ahmed11

Please consider ticket assignee who adds comment in servicenow due to which mail gets triggered to zendesk. Also the very first email which zendesk ticket will receive as a response from servicenow is HRC00xx ticket number ..

Can you guide me or mention basic steps to configure trigger or webhook.
