Can Zendesk Support show illegal/missing arguments in Triggers, Macros, Automations, Views etc.?

Hi

Not sure I missed something, but from time to time, I have one of those triggers where a certain agent has been assigned, or a view where a certain agent has access.

Now, if this agent leaves the company or changes jobs internally, I'd be really happy if there was something like a "show all objects and rules with invalid arguments" to be able to quickly view and fix this kind of problems. I'm managing only about 30 agents, and it's already a PITA. I imagine that it doesn't get any easier with more agents.

Any advice?

Hi Peter! Thank you for your feedback!

This is a great idea! And I can see how this can benefit other customers. I will keep an eye on this post as it is flagged as feedback and it could be considered for implementation in the future. In the meantime, our article with tips when removing agents might be useful for you.

This doesn't just impact removing or assigning agents. Having this filter on the Triggers page would enable admins to do better maintenance work (as there is no native tool to maintain triggers). I'd risk saying that an alternative solution like a standard email notification for all admins would already be really useful.

Especially when managing thousands of triggers for multiple brands and dozens of groups, this clean-up feature would speed up a lot of work (and it would will also be useful for automations and views) and save a lot of auditing time for admins.
