Can I have a ticket type without a form?

I would like to have a distinct ticket that has 3 fields on it. These tickets would be generated through the email channel. I don't want to have another form on my form page. Am I able to create a ticket like this without creating an associated form, else would I need to create a form and then hide it from the forms page with javascript?

Hi Matthew,

What you're looking to achieve here is not possible in Zendesk.

By default, ZD logic is: Ticket fields live on a ticket form and that's it.

When an email is received inside the ZD, it still needs to adhere to a ticket form so the agent can then see the fields that need to be filled out accordingly. There's no way around this at all.

You could simply make an "Agent Only" ticket form which is used for your incoming emails. When a form is set to "Agent only" it doesn't appear in the form list on the help centre to end-users as it's not publicly visible to end-users.

I hope this helps. :)
