Zendesk Explore: get info from custom objects

Hi there!

For a project we are using Zendesk Sell and we need to customize the "Products" catalog by using Zendesk Custom Objects (sadly it seems we can't directly add Custom Fields to the products).

On Zendesk Explore we want to create reports that include these Products' custom information we have on Custom Objects.

Our question is: Is it possible to get the info about these Custom Objects on Zendesk Explore reports? We don't see an option to use Custom Objects as a Dataset so we are wondering if there's any other way to accomplish this.

I am afraid that currently is not possible to get Custom Objects in Explore. We are working on Custom Objects Version 2 that will be connected with Explore, however, this feature is not available yet.
 
You will need to use the APIs to gather any reporting you are interested in. Sorry, I don't have a better answer for you now. Please make sure to follow our Announcements page, so you can get notified once a new feature is released.

Without reporting, Custom objects use is very limited

Since a custom object can be connected to tickets via Lookup relationships, it would be  valuable to add all the associated information from these custom objects to Zendesk Explore reports. 
@ashwin11 Is this feature already planned and, if so, when will it be available?

I recently saw a presentation from Zendesk that custom object reporting would be available.  Is there any update on the ETA for this feature?
