I've been trying to retrieve the visitors email address from our Live Chat widget using this code <script>

alert("Visitor's email: " + $zopim.livechat.getEmail());
});
</script>
Given in the API docs here,
But it does not work, no matter how and where I trigger it the value cannot be retrieved. Am I doing something wrong or does it not work anymore?

Thanks for reaching out. If you are on an integrated account (Support + Chat) then these APIs will not be accessible due to deprecation. If you are on a standalone Zopim instance and still experiencing the API issue, let us know and we'd be happy to investigate further.
