Trouble verifying articles with Content Blocks enabled

I have a number of articles that are both 

  1. Marked as verified when the articles are opened up:
  2. Still remain listed as 'Unverified' (even after refreshing):


I would expect that if the article is marked as 'Verified' then it would disappear from the 'Unverified' list.

The one this these articles share in common is that they all have content blocks enabled.  Is there a way to mark these as verified such that they disappear from the 'Unverified' list?

      I know the problem and agree with the improvement.
      In addition, I would also like to have the option to update the content cue when verifying. The article also appears there. This means a lot of work for the maintenance
