Trigger Auto-Assigns Tickets To Me

Hello all,

I created a Trigger to post an internal note and add a certain follower to the ticket when a client with a significant past-due invoice balance reaches out.

Since the trigger was created, I've noticed that these tickets always get assigned to me. I guess it's because I created the Trigger. Is there any way to post the internal note and add the follower without the ticket automatically getting assigned to me? or have it randomly assigned to other users?

Hi Matt,

How exactly did you create the internal note with the triggers? Are you using a target?

If you are the one that set up the target, that could be the reason why you get assigned.

Hi Robert, I set up the Trigger, Target, and Automation.

There doesn't seem to be a place to round-robin/randomly assign the tickets as they automatically switch from New to Open.

Hey Matt,

Do you have this trigger automatically assigning a ticket to a group which you're only apart of? If you edit the trigger to auto-assign to a group based that has multiple members does that resolve the issue?

You may want to check the events of your ticket to see if there's another trigger that's assigning it to you.
