The new, enhanced article editor provides a more intuitive and enriched content creation experience, designed to streamline your content creation process and boost audience engagement.
With the new article editor, you have access to new editing tools, source code improvements, and new article components that let you embed external content, insert HTML blocks, and create article summaries for your content. In addition, the new editor is designed to generate cleaner and more semantic HTML to enhance the accessibility and search engine optimization (SEO) of your articles.
The transition from the legacy article editor to the new article editor will occur in four phases, beginning Q2 2025 and ending Q1 2026. This article describes the transition plan and ways in which you can prepare for the upcoming changes.
Transition overview
We plan to completely retire the legacy article editor in Q1 2026. We understand that transitioning to the new article editor may introduce some changes to your articles, which is why we are providing ample time to complete the transition. We want to give you the opportunity to review the compatibility of your articles with the new editor.
Since the new editor operates on a different technological foundation, we understand that some elements may require manual adjustments by users. While these adjustments may lead to additional work, we believe the new editor will enable us to deliver new features more quickly and efficiently, ultimately enhancing your daily workflow.
