Tracking SFDC Account ID in GA4 for Help Center Users

Our team recently implemented SSO to track customer users in Zendesk for improved segmentation and reporting.

Unfortunately, to properly track this, we must make all articles read-only which prevents the articles from showing in the Support chat bubble (PS - that's some odd use case functionality Zendesk).

Seeking a work around so we don't have to gate articles and impact Support but still hit our segmentation and tracking goals.

Does anyone have any success using SFDC account IDs to track customer activity in the Help Center?
