Dear All,
Content Blocks is slowly moving to general availability. The roll-out started on Nov, 4th 2021 and will continue until Dec, 17th (you can read more about it in this announcement). Therefore, we’ll be closing this discussion topic in the next couple of weeks.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for participating in one of the biggest EAPs we have ever had here in Zendesk. Thanks to your involvement and passionate feedback we’ve not only made changes to the UI (no more + sign to add content blocks), designed central management for content blocks, or added the possibility to delete blocks or add custom CSS classes, but also uncovered a serious flaw in our system (remember that bug when articles were shown as not published just after publishing them??) that took us a good few months to solve.
I’d also like to thank you for bringing up your needs and wishes for Content Blocks and the wider area of content creation and content reusability in Knowledge Base. I’m taking notes of them all and they have a huge impact on how we are shaping our future roadmap. So please keep them coming into our forum for Feedback on Help Center.
This release of Content Blocks is just the beginning of bigger improvements of Knowledge Base and we have a lot of features both in content blocks and in the editing experience in general in our pipeline. If you are interested in knowing more about our plans for the future check out our Knowledge Management roadmap.
Once again, thank you all, we wouldn’t be here without you.
Kasia
