Some of the tables in our articles are now considered “Complex HTML” and can only be edited within the article's source code instead of the Editor itself. Any changes to a table in the source code that go beyond the table's assigned default setting are deemed “Complex HTML” and require further changes in the article's source code.
Tables as Complex HTML
Would love tables to not be considered complex HTML. I need to be able to edit my original tables in text format easily. The new editor made this extra complicated!
For added context, we have an article that this impacts that needs 10 single-row changes. In the previous editor we would be able to have our basic editors do this and it take less than 10 minutes. Now our editors cannot make the changes (they are not savvy in HTML). One of our experienced knowledge management staff members had to complete the changes and it took them approx. 20 minutes to complete the 10 changes.
