A big thank you for everyone who participated in and provided feedback throughout our Shopify Events & Profiles for Sunshine EAP.
What's changing?
We will be closing this EAP on the 6th of October, making way for general availability of Shopify Events & Profiles for Sunshine. Any events which have been added to Sunshine during the EAP will still be available, however no new events will be added after the 6th of October. You will need to enable Shopify Events & Profiles for each Shop once available to continue capturing events.
We've listened to your feedback and implemented some key changes to help make the implementation more useful when it is generally available:
- You can now turn on Shopify Events & Profiles for multiple Shopify integrations, enabling you to record and filter customer events from multiple shops.
- We've simplified the admin experience, with activation now only required in the Shopify Integration in Admin Center - all Sunshine Profiles and Events will be enabled automatically.
- We've removed events which generated excessive and added some more valuable event types, enabling you to focus on important customer interactions.
- Event and Profile information has been updated to remove blank values and only display relevant information.
- Orders and associated events will include a link to the order confirmation/status page.
