When performing a search on a custom field, I'm seeing that there are 42 organizations, but only 30 are actually displaying on my screen. How do I see the other 12?

Are you not seeing the page selection option at the bottom of the search result page?
I figured it out. It was the Zendesk announcement at the top - it wouldn't let me scroll down to the pagination (Firefox). Once I closed the announcement, then I could see the pagination. Thanks, all!

In regards to your concern, yes there's a limit for the number of items that can be shown but there should be a page selection at the bottom to go next or view the remaining results from the search.
