After a suggested article is submitted from an agent, when the content team takes the suggestion and reworks for publishing, do they have to remove the KCTemplate manually?

Good news! The KC Template will not be attached to the Knowledge Capture ticket. Once your agent submits an article for review, it will only show the contents of the template.

Happy news: The Knowledge Capture ticket won't have the KC Template attached. Your agent will only display the template's contents once they submit an article for evaluation.
