In the future, we're planning to make improvements that address EAP limitations and remove the EAP label as the feature goes live. Below we are sharing the planned and under consideration improvements for the general availability release of OpenID Connect, and we are inviting you to comment.
Planned
- Audit log events for when an agent signs in via OIDC
- Adding support for the discovery URL to be different from the issuer URL
Under consideration
- Clarifying that both openid and email are required scopes that must be added to the configuration form.
- Support for scopes that don't follow the OIDC formatting. For example, valid scopes in Microsoft are User.Read and https://graph.microsoft.com/User.Read
