New Ticket Alert

Is there any way to push an alert notification to windows or google chrome when a new ticket is created/updated?  Perhaps there is a browser extension or a Zendesk app that can do this?

I'm aware of using emails, but its a bit too spammy of a solution for me.

Ideally, there would be a small icon in Chrome that would indicate if there was new activity.

Hi Andrew!

There used to be a Chrome extension but I'm afraid it's been taken down because it's not supported anymore. If you use any kind of chat or collaborative tool like Slack, you can set up an integration with a service like If This Then That or Zapier. It's perhaps not the solution you were looking for, but it could work!

We use Slack for this and it works like a charm! Let me know if you have any questions about it. I have each group's new tickets sent to their specific channel in Slack and learned a couple tricks.
