Help? Is anyone else only seeing Obsolete - Ticket tags when building a query in Explore? Started last week and it is a huge obstacle to creating new queries.

Hi Krisina.

Zendesk will soon be releasing new versions of the datasets. Among other changes, they will be introducing new versions of the Tags attributes, which will - eventually - give you more flexibility to build complex queries. However don't worry, the legacy / obsolete Tags attributes will still work.

Any update on this regarding a new version of tags attributes? Are they now called something else, even though they are still 'tags' in the ticket interface?

Hey Kevin,

There should be a Ticket Tags attribute you can still use in Explore as referenced in the following article: Reporting with tags

Let me know if you run into any issues locating this attribute.

Thanks!

Hi,

Why isn't the 'Ticket Tags' field populating?  I'm still only seeing the 'Obsolete-Ticket Tags'. Is the 'Obsolete-Ticket Tags' field continuing to populate with new tickets?
Thanks, Gretchen

Hi Gretchen,

Can you confirm that you're not using an out of date dataset when attempting to report on ticket tags?

If a dataset displays the status Out of date, it is no longer being updated by Zendesk. Unless you are maintaining queries that use this dataset, consider deleting it.

You should find the Ticket Tags attribute the default datasets or any up to date custom datasets.

Let us know if you run into any other issues with this!

Best,
