Make the resolving of ID collisions easier

Hi there,

Been working on (still working on) resolving ID collisions within our accounts, so we know everything is available in a snapshot for potential deployment.

Make the resolving of ID collisions easier, e.g., if one or more of the duplicates are inactive, suggest an easy way to delete these.

In Agent Tools/ Business Rules admin pages, make it easy to detect duplicates, and delete/rename them in bulk - also have columns that make it visible if an element is active or deactivated.

I would also like to see the post-snapshot warning be a collapsible text area - when you have 1000+ warnings, it gets tedious to have to scroll past these.

Hi @jacob25. Thanks for this feedback. It's definitely an area that we want to improve on. I like your idea of improving the business rules pages themselves too and I'll pass this onto the respective team.

We're going to be making a few smaller changes to the list of warnings soon. Some larger improvements are on the roadmap for early next year as well.

Thanks @carl14

A central page for handling ID colissions would also be nice, and possibly more efficient.

What I'm seeing is that the business rule pages may have one or more of:

  1. Filters, especially to capture active/inactive elements,
  2. Columns to see if any element in a filtered set is active/inactive,
  3. Batch operations, so you can delete many inactive elements at a time.

I don't think any business rule management pages has all of these, so it is slow going trying to resolve these ID colissions in a busy instance, not to mention multiple instances.
