Feature Request Summary:
There is no way to add an agent to chat, that doesn’t require visiting the agent profile, and a minimum of three clicks. I want to be able to use the API or Import Users to mass update agents to having the chat setting turned on.
Description/Use Cases:
I am staring down the barrel of updating over a hundred agents to be chat agents. I have no choice but to visit each profile, click on the settings to take me to the admin version of their settings, change the chat setting, then hit save. Then repeat that, for each and every agent.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
This is a huge waste of time and energy doing an extremely tedious task, when you have more than a few agents. On top of that, there’s no way for me to query the API and get back what agents have chat turned on. It’s weirdly divorced from the rest of the settings for the product.
