Hyperlinks, Internal Articles, PDFs and iFrames

1. On the right hand preview pane, when clicking on hyperlinks, a prompt pops up to ask if you want to navigate away and therefore lose edits. Can this be set to open in a new window/tab so that you do not have to navigate away?

2. Also, on the original KC app - at the beginning you could link a internal (Agents only) article in a public and private comment. Due to that I created a naming convention for us which means it always has "Internal - " at the beginning title of an article. Eventually KC changed and now can only link those articles in Private messages which is fantastic. Looks like the new Knowledge is like the original version of KC with this, can this be aligned?

I would have benefit though for being able to add a quote from an internal article. For example we'd have an articles with the explanation and perhaps a section with what we can say to our customers - that section would be great to quote.

3. Not sure if bug or not, but I can see iFrames in the preview on the right side panel or link them as quotes - this would be ideal. I have mentioned that images and videos are not linking as quotes in another feedback post about the images bug.

4. Can't see if a pdf attachment is on an article, so if not mentioned in the article text, we won't know one is available. This is also not in KC, but would be great to add, we really need this.

Below has both pdf and iframe embedded as an example

Thanks

Thank you for the feedback! We are working on addressing most of the mentioned items. Regarding hyperlinks there is a workaround. You can set a link to be opened in a new tab in the article editor. Read more Inserting and editing links in articles

Thank you. For the hyperlink workaround, are you still going to make it default open in new tab or will I need to do the workaround as a permanent solution? I just would like to know before going back through all my articles and editing.

Also not sure if too much to ask, but for adding quotes for tables, would it be possible to add rows (or columns) from a table instead of the entire table?

We plan to address hyperlinks but we do not have a timeline for the fix.
