In general the admin controls stay the same but with an increase in how many shared and personal views are shown in the Views side panel.
How do I get it turned on?
For this EAP it is a manual enablement by the Product team get it enabled for an entire account. Once it has been manually enabled the effect will be immediate and all users of Zendesk will see the increased amount of Views in their side panel, if there are more to be seen.
How do I configure from the admin side?
The admin controls will be the same and the positioning order of the Views will determine the order of the 30 shared views and 10 personal views. Controls remain the same but instead of getting the top 12 and top 8 it will get top 30 and top 10.
How do I interact with the new side panel?
There is a slightly new experience with how you interact with the side panel. The Side panel is split up into 2 scrolling sections, the shared views section has it's own sliding section where you can scroll up and down the 30 shared views and the rest of the side panel is the other scrolling section where you can switch between scrolling in just the shared views of the whole side panel. We are already working on UX improvements to this navigation experience and are looking for some feedback to how you interact with the different sections.
Can I control who gets more views?
No, during this EAP it is an all of nothing switch. We welcome feedback on the type of controls you may need so we can plan into the next phase(s).
