How can I change the date format in a ticket?

Dear Zendesk Community,

In tickets the date is put as "Heute 09:09" or "Friday 09:09" (see Screenshot below). However, I would like the actual date (i.e. 31.05.2021  09:09) to be seen in the ticket.

How can I change that?

Best regards,

Michèle

Hi Michéle! If you hover your mouse over the day/time that is displayed, you should see the full date appear — but there's not a way to change the way the timestamps are displayed in a ticket. This has been a longstanding feature request, but there are not any planned updates for this on the roadmap right now.

If you have any other questions on this, please let us know!

Hi,
I also have a similar request and I sent a request to your support site in ticket #11195417  .
I have been told to leave a comment in this forum, so that Zendesk will look into this matter.

This is a feature which will be nice to have, especially when we copy a list of all "open" tickets or "un-resolved" tickets into a spreadsheet. We would like the date to be shown as a proper date like “4 February 2023” rather than the day of the week like "Saturday", as this makes it hard to sort out the tickets. I understand that we can export the tickets to CSV and this shows the real date, rather than the day of the week, but CSV does not capture the ticket links, while when we copy the list of tickets, the ticket links are also captured.
So if Zendesk could change the date format in the ticket, from the day of the week to actual date, that will be great!
Regards
