Feedback - Setting common values in Triggers and create filters to only show common values

With Triggers many of the current action, such as Set Assignee or Add Follower, have common values that reference the current user, requester, assignee and more. For many use cases, I can imagine the field will represent some kind of responsible person or organization that when the request is received should be set as the current requester or current ticket organization, but should be changed by the agent if needed.

Some of the values I came up with so far, please add more of such suggestions to the comments:

Ticket

  • Values of other Lookup Relationship fields

User

  • Current user
  • Requester
  • Assignee
  • Values of other Lookup Relationship fields
  • CC'd user

Organization

  • Current user primary organization
  • Requester primary organization
  • Assignee primary organization
  • Ticket organization
  • Values of other Lookup Relationship fields

The same goes for the filters. There is currently no way to only show the organizations of a current user, requester or assignee, while I think it might be interesting to being able to filter down on the organizations that are all added to this user in case this user has multiple organization. The ticket filters are pretty complete already.

Some examples I came up with so far for the filters are as following:

Users

  • Part of Current user primary organization
  • Part of Requester primary organization
  • Part of Assignee primary organization
  • Part of same Ticket Organization
  • Part of the same Organization as selected in another Lookup Relationship field

Organizations

  • (Primary) Organization of Current user
  • (Primary) Organization of Requester
  • (Primary) Organization of Assignee
  • (Primary) Organization of Users selected Lookup Relationship fields
  • (Primary) Organization of CC'd users
