We are excited to announce that the EAP now allows you to deploy a version/snapshot to your production instance.. You can use this to update your production environment with selected changes you have developed and tested in your sandbox.
How do I access it?
You will find this feature listed under the Configuration management menu item, labelled “Deployments”. You can read more about how to use this feature here.
What can / can’t I deploy?
All your main Zendesk configurations can be deployed, including triggers, automations, custom fields, and others. There are some areas that we have blocked from deployment as they require more work from our team to ensure they function correctly.
We highly encourage you to do deployments in small stages. Some Zendesk environments can be highly complex with many linked dependencies. Deploying smaller changes ensures that your environments can remain stable and any roll-backs required can be actioned quickly.

Over the next couple of months, the team is focused on incorporating the feedback we have received and preparing the product for General Availability.
