Dashboard Filter Not Working Correctly

Building out a dashboard and I added Year and Month ticket created filters and linked the filters across the necessary data sets. However, the month filter is not filtering to the months I am selecting: 

Any thoughts on what I may be missing here?

The report filters correctly in the report editor, so I believe the issue is with the dashboard filter. I tried removing the filters and re-adding/relinking to the datasets and that did not work either. There are also no competing filters in the source report, so that shouldn't be causing a conflict.

I figured out what the issue was with the filters and was able to fix it. We were mapping to Tickets Created and not Tickets Solved. Mapping to Tickets Solved fixed the issues.

Now I am running into a similar issue with the KC Dataset. 

The filter I dropped in the tab is not sharing across tabs and I am thinking it is a dataset linking issue.

Am I missing a dataset here to link to and share across tabs?
