Custom objects not functioning in service catalog

Hello!

I'm working on testing out the services catalog EAP with a custom object for software. When attempting to select an item from the lookup field using the custom object it appears to be empty. This same field works just fine in our forms. Is this a known issue with the EAP?

Thank you!

Alex

Hi Francis,

That's actually an unrelated request. It just happens to be about custom objects as well.

For context; the lookup field just doesn't display data when used in services. It does when used in a form.

Hello George,

The behavior you’re describing—where the lookup field tied to a custom object displays correctly in forms but appears empty within the Services Catalog—is a known limitation in the current EAP release. The Services Catalog interface does not yet fully support displaying data from lookup fields connected to custom objects as it does in forms.

Our product team is aware of this and is actively working on improving custom object integration within the Services Catalog experience. As this is an early access feature, some functionality is still evolving, and lookup field support is part of ongoing enhancements.
