Custom Field Results in Ticket Main Pane

We use custom ticket fields when customers submit tickets but they are buried behind a scroll in the left side pane in Zendesk. In general, our team does a good job of checking for content before responding to a customer but occasionally we ask customers for information they've already provided. Does anyone know of a way to get custom field results to also display in the messaging pane, perhaps as an internal comment or something similar? Thank you!
