we've had some customers complain that the chat window is opening on page load and not when they click it on. This is blocking part of then part and of course causing issues for customers trying to browse the site. How can this issue be resolved?
This is what pops up every time the page is loaded in Microsoft IE and some versions of Google Chrome. How can we ensure that it stays minimized?

Actually this is the normal behavior when there are agents online chat window will appear when page loads.
You can simply turn off the chat badge so that automatically the chat window is minimise, unless visitor clicks on it:
