Can we brand the sign-in page, and if so, how?

Where can I find any information on branding the log-in page? I read an article about a new experience from June 2015, but I don't see a pop-up when logging in. It's a stand alone page. It's all white, and some of the text is OK, but it's just white and our logo is hard to see.

I ran a couple searches in this help portal but couldn't track down further information. Can someone direct me to where I can learn how to manage this page?

  • Our logo which we use throughout the Help Center looks invisible in the top left corner
  • Can we ad an article so it says, "New to THE Success Portal" instead of "New to Success Portal"?
  • Confirm where "sign up" and "get a password" and "I am an agent" is mapped to/from

I'd like to know what we can alter, and a general understanding of what makes this page possible.

Thanks!

I don't believe there's currently a way to customize this particular menu, from the last official post I saw on this.

Your logo looks to be a white/gray color, which means it won't look very good on a white background (which you're unfortunately unable to stylize). The best option is to put a dark logo in the Branding section of your zendesk page, and then use your white logo as an asset everywhere else. I'm in the same boat, so this is how I did it:

1) Darker logo goes in the Branding section. This is the logo that will show up on your sign-in page:

2) Put your white logo into the Assets tab:

3) In the header, add your white logo with {{asset 'filename'}}, not {{logo_url}}. (In this example, my logo is an inline-svg, with a png backup for IE8 users):

4) tadaa! Even though my main logo is dark, I can still use a white logo on my main page:

Moving on, I believe the log-in menu you only appears that way if your Zendesk page is locked from anonymous users with this option:

My particular site isn't locked, therefore anonymous users see this screen when they try and log in. It's a box that appears over the homepage:

It looks nicer because it shows a preview of my site behind it. The caveat is that now anonymous people can browse the site. This sign-in modal menu is also unable to be styled with css or jquery .css() injections, as far as I've tried.

Hi Laura -

The sign-in page is not customizable. More information on this here: Can I customize my Help Center's login page and popup?
