[ARCHIVED] Zendesk Views Auto Refresh

Over the past year, my team and I have been using a 3rd party extension within our browser to automatically refresh our Zendesk views since such a feature is not native to Zendesk currently. As of last night, an update pushed out by Zendesk appears to have broken these extension's abilities to refresh the views within Zendesk automatically.

I know these extensions are 3rd party and are not supported by Zendesk, but is there any plan to add an Auto Refresh feature to Zendesk soon? Alternatively, will there be another patch to Zendesk that will reverse this issue and allow these extensions to function as intended?

I know that I am not the only one who has encountered this issue today, so hopefully, there can be a quick resolution. This issue is a massive hindrance to our companies everyday workflows and ability to track and meet strict SLAs properly.

I noticed this as well. Also, the refresh when you just move your mouse doesn't work any more either.

Worked yesterday.

this update that was pushed out also caused an issue with the auto hide of side bar when you hove to expand, the view name you are on still shows. Then the Refresh views button is hard to click because the side bar hides before you can click.

Same here! No good Zendesk - booo.  Using extension "Zendesk Auto Refresh."  Removed and reinstalled and still not working.  This is an invaluable tool and really need it's functionality restored!

Also, same issue with the views list.

Last night I received word from the developer of "Zendesk Auto Refresh" stating that he has made the changes necessary for the extension to work with the newest version of Zendesk. The changes to the extension have been submitted to the Chrome store, and as soon as their verification process has been completed, all users who have the extension installed will receive the latest update.

I hope this helps all of you who had this issue and use this 3rd party extension. It would still be preferred, though, for this to be built into Zendesk sometime soon. If they aren't going to put an app in the marketplace that allows for this functionality, they should have the feature built into the ticket system.

I noticed this morning that the side bar is working again. It no longer slides over and shows the name of the view you are on. It covers it like it use to. Also, I don't have a scroll bar on it anymore which is also what it use to look like. Thanks for fixing this Zendesk.

They updated ZenDesk again. Here is yesterday's and today's versions for my org:
Version: 10619 (b1c84a7b8a2782817d739fc5159461297e9cdf3c)
Version: 10623 (c2af1467a4c156edf75a52caf2ac373be3864ab0)

The normal auto refresh where you move your mouse after a while of inactivity is working as well.

Extensions work too!!!

The issue with the side bar for the views overlaying the view name showing through has come back when the view bar is set to auto hide and then hover to expand

The auto refresh broke again too. I reached out to the developer and he updated the extension again. It is working this morning. Version 3.1.2 for the Chrome extension.

Sadly the view sidebar is still broken today when auto hide is used.

Hey Kyle! I see you were able to chat with us about this issue.

Let's go ahead and continue the troubleshooting process on our ongoing thread. See you there!

Is anyone having problems with labels in Explore?  My instance is exhibiting the same behavior as Views. I opened a support ticket (#6501143) and am basically getting the runaround. Here is a representative screenshot.  This issue is present on Chrome (with some extensions for ZD including auto-refresh and dark mode) and Safari w/no extensions, on two different computers (Win10 and Mac) and an iPad.
