I just unlinked a block from a guide, as the content now needs to be custom in each area, and it deleted that content after publishing. I thought content was only supposed to be deleted when you choose "Remove" and not "Unlink?"
It didn't delete right away. After unlinking, I was able to edit that text area as normal in the WYSIWYG, but then that whole section of text disappeared after I published the changes. Weirdly, it also deleted the H2 text that was right below it, even though that was not previously part of the block.
When I opened the guide again, my recent changes to the unlinked text were not in the Revision history; it just looked like I deleted that whole section and H2 manually. Luckily I was able to reassemble the text from the other guides using that block, but this makes me hesitant to unlink any others if I need to.
