[ARCHIVED] App for ticket that shows details and notes of organization

Hi Daniela!

I did some digging around in the App Marketplace and found an app called Text that seemed promising; it basically just renders Support Placeholders in the sidebar. Unfortunately, when I tested it I found that the ticket.requester.details and ticket.requester.notes placeholders aren't supported in the app.

This is an app that we built here at Zendesk, so I'm going to reach out that team and see about getting it updated with some additional placeholders. I can't promise that they'll be able to do it, but I'll at least let them know.

Beyond that, I think that the User Data app or building your own custom app are going to be your only options. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

So i'll keep an eye on the Text App but i think we need to investigate if we create an App by ourself to cover our needs.

Any news on getting the additional placeholders put in? 

Is there anywhere this request can be tracked for visibility?

I'm afraid I don't have any update to provide at this time. I've passed your feedback along, and I'll let you know if anything changes!

Adding that we would also like additional placeholders (especially ticket.requester.organization.notes) in the Text app or configuration options for User Data.

Agreed that this would be great functionality to have.

With the app "Tag Warnings" no longer working; something like this would be wonderful.

Just found out that the  "Tag Warnings" app is no longer working, any valid alternatives to display customer messages based on Tags?

User Data app has been updated and is now able to display the fields we needed!  It's not quite the same as the Tag Warnings functionality, but it is helpful!
