Hello Everyone,

I am looking to make a custom template for tickets which should skip normal zendesk formatting with avatars, line breaks etc. 

Instead i want to show the previous replies as an ongoing thread. Something like this

 

 

any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to the Community, Muhammad!

We do have a Support Tip that outlines how to set up your Zendesk so your responses look like a "normal" email, but it's going to effect all of your responses. If I understand your post correctly it sounds like you only need this for certain replies, and I'm afraid it's not possible to do that...either all responses or formatted, or all responses are unformatted.

Can you tell us more about your use case? Why would you need to avoid formatting for certain responses? Are there only certain parts of the formatted response that you want to exclude?

Hello jessie, thank you for your reply but provided link removes the thread as well from the email. I need to keep previous conversation as well as shown in my attached image in original post.

I want to apply this theme to all tickets not selective ones. Formatting for replies needs to be removed but have to keep different formatting for user & agent replies and signatures.

I hope it clarifies what i am looking for.

Hey Muhammad,

It looks like you just want the emails to just look like a plain email thread? I don't think it's possible to remove formatting to that extent, but hopefully some other members of the Community can weigh in on this!

I am pretty sure Jessie is right on this one. Making the template do a threadlike behavior isn't possible i am afraid. Not that i know of anyway... :-)
