Now that users have the ability to pin apps to the context panel, I want to be able to do this in a custom layout.
This would allow apps to be prioritised without taking up screen real estate (a lot of our agents work on laptops).
For example, on a defect ticket layout I might pin the Jira integration app.
+1 - I think this would be very valuable.
I would like to pin apps as an admin globally to force the pinned apps for my users. We use several marketplace and custom apps and the pinned apps feature is a great enhancement.

Stellar news - we’re looking to build the ability for admins to pin apps in the Context Panel early next year in 2024 (via Layout Builder).
