I'm curious if there's an OOTB way to create a poll in a posting, an embed of some kind or an app integration that would allow this? Looking for other items outside of the thumbs up/thumbs down that is available.

There is a way to accomplish this actually! :-)
Try to take a look at Surveypal and how they integrate to Zendesk - they have some awesome features to allow you to iframe surveys into Zendesk Guide!
We would love to take a closer look at this with you!

That's a very expensive hack for something which is usually free on most forums.
Is there another inbuilt option for polls - it would be incredibly useful!
This would be a great feature request to make in our Guide product feedback forum, where other users can up-vote the idea and PM's will see it.
I agree it'd be great to have something simple just included in Gather. Nothing crazy complicated. If someone wants a more complex survey, then it makes sense to use a 3rd party since it's outside the purview of Gather, but a quick poll would be a fantastic tool!

There's not an OOTB way to create a poll. We are looking for this functionality ourselves however, so I'll be sure to share if and when we find an app or integration.
If any other users have suggestions on this idea, please share!
