2-factor authentication

Thank you for all your support,

I like to make two factor authentication enable for only end users but it seems to make it enable for staff members too. Do I make it enable only for one of them?

Hi ITAdmin,

At this stage 2-factor authentication using Zendesk authentication is only supported for agents in your account, it is not supported for end-users. As an alternative to this you could setup SSO with an external provider and require 2-factor authentication for your end-users via that provider. This appears to still be true.  Is this on the Zendesk product roadmap?

Hi Joe, 

This is not currently on the product roadmap; at the moment the focus remains on 2FA for Agents. If you'd like to submit an official request to the product team where other users can vote for it and add their use cases, you can post to the Feedback on Support topic. If you haven't posted there before, you may want to review the guidelines for submitting product feedback
