I know multi-placement for articles is not possible at the moment, so I wanted to see what other users are doing.
I'm creating content for a new feature that has some feature-specific content, but another part of the content is the same as the previous version, so in this case, the multi-placement would be very helpful.
I don't believe simply duplicating the content would be the best option, but I would like to hear from you what you have done in this kind of case.

Ideally we'd avoid duplicating content as its too hard to reconcile.
My purpose for multi-placement is that we have multiple brands where we need to keep the experience separate, but share the same Guide knowledge base. We currently find it easier to just redirect customers to our main Guide help centre, but if Zendesk had the multi-placement publishing option we'd benefit and could more easily operate multiple help centres.
I'm interested too hear what others have done too? and wonder if there is anyone in the community using gen ai solutions for it? i.e. custom gpt's seem to solve for this problem but have a few risks associated too for maintaining integrity of content

In the past, we've seen other customers use Content Blocks. Another option might be to put the full article in the 'main' section, and shorter, way-finding articles in the other sections.

Hi Brandon, thanks for the suggestions.
I gave it a try with content blocks, but it was an immediate no-go for me; unfortunately, when using content blocks, any formatting is removed, and I work with a lot of HTML formatting within the articles.
For now, I think the best option is to create a "general" section and then other sections for the more specific content.

This will work for sure, but the usage of Content Blocks will be more safe avoiding discrepancies in the future. Sometimes it will be fluent after a longer period of time.

You are correct - as of right now, there's no way to have one article exist in multiple locations with our default functionality.
The best practice would be to display a link to the section or article on the page you'd like to be available by customizing the template for that section or category. You can learn more about it here; it looks like the conversation is still ongoing in the comments.
Additionally, I would recommend adding your thoughts to our product feedback page; I know you're not the only one to want this functionality, so it would be great to reiterate your needs here.
